Our journey began in 2002 when I met my husband at our home church in the college group. We started dating in 2005 after I transferred to the university where he was attending. During the course of two years dating, I remembered one day we had this long talk about our passion and calling. This was when we found out we share the calling to serve the Lord in mission work.

About AMY & JOSEPH VO

Amy and Joseph are natives of Vietnam who immigrated to the U.S. as children. They look forward to returning to their birthplace to serve  as development workers. Amy's background is in education and counseling and she will teach and coach women in building healthy relationships. Joseph's experience is in education leadership. He will also teach and work with VCM leadership and economic development.

When God calls you He has a plan for you!

I can resonate with the story of Moses because he was called to go back to serve his people. On the same page, I am called to go back to Viet Nam to serve my people who need Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

I was born and raised in a Christian family where my parents were servants of the Lord. I was called at age 14 for the mission work but did not know for sure where or when this call will become a reality, yet I still treasured it in my heart.

Overtime, the call was forgotten as I reached college years and events in life.

Until one day,  I woke up from a coma in a fatal car accident that almost took my life away, without major injury or broken bones in my body.
It was a major turning point of my life. I met Amy and the rest is history,

We are currently working in  healthcare field and look forward to serve Viet Nam.
